Mangalore : The murder of Anjana, Assistant Manager  of Syndicate Bank Katipalla Branch  is still shrouded in mystery with the police still not being able to ascertain the exact cause of the murder.  Meanwhile, police have arrested two persons in connection with the case and have launched a manhunt to nab Mahesh, the  male  friend of the deceased young woman.

One of the arrested is identified as Ravi, the friend of Mahesh  in whose house Anjana was found unconscious and later succumbed in the hospital. The house at Bejai Kapikad where Ravi and Mahesh stayed was rented out to Ravi by  the house owner Dolphy D’Souza.

Police also do not rule out  murder for gain as the vanity bag , gold chain and mobile phone of Anjana were found missing.

Anjana had joined Syndicate Bank  at Katipalla just eight months ago and used to stay at the bank quarters at Gandhinagar with her mother. She hailed from Kozhikode.
