Bala Vikasa School Mani Qualifies for District drama Competition

Bantwal: The Kannada drama “Bhoomi” that was staged by the students of Bala Vikasa English Medium School. Mani, near here bagged the first place in taluk level science drama competitions that were organized jointly by state Science Institute, DSERT – Bangalore and public instructions department.  The students theater troupe thus qualified to participate in the district level competitions.

Eight theater troupes from different schools across the taluk participated in the competitions that were held at Infant Jesus English Medium School, Modankap, near here on Friday August 23.

The students Vidish Krishna Y, Anup Narayan, Kartik Poojary Muyinuddin, Sushmita Shetty, Sourabha Bhat, Aishwarya Nayak and Anusha N Rao enacted different roles in the drama “Bhoomi” directed by playwright of same drama Mounesh Vishwakarma.

The School administrator Sridar, teachers Jayasree  Acharya and Yajneshwari N were offered guidance to the students.

The School correspondent Prahlad Shetty, High School head teacher Vijayalaxmi Shetty, Primary School head teacher Grace P Saldanha, and teaching staff congratulated the theater troupe that won the top place.
