Mangalore: Advocate and writer B A Mohammed Haneef has been appointed as the President of Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy.

Mohammed Haneef  who hails from  Kuppepadavu Kallady has been actively involved in the Beary movement and has served as the President of Akhila Bharatha Beary Parishat, founder president of Muslim Vikasa Parishat and also as the Central Beary Academy President.
