Kasargod: The family has been informed that Haridas(32), an army officer from Kasargod who is working in Jammu & Kashmir flood hit area has been missing since September 5.
He is a resident of Manimoole in Bandadka in Kasargod. Haridas is one among 20 army officers in Kashmir who are missing. He was serving in 1 RR battalion in Ananthabagh. The tent in which they stayed was washed away by the flood water.
His family has informed that they do not know his whereabouts after September 5. On 5th he had called his wife Jyothilaxmi and spoke about the flood. Later on the family members tried to contact him but in vain.
He was posted in Jammu only two months back. Before that he was working in Arunachal Pradesh. He had visited his native place last June.
The family members have sought help in finding him.
