Uppinanagady: A bullet tanker filled with LPG overturned on Saturday at Perne on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru NH-75 which forced to recall April 2013 tragedy where a bullet tanker overturned and caused the death of nearly a dozen people.

Sources said that the fire forces extinguished the fire immediately and stopped further damage. They poured water continuously for four hours on the tanker to keep it cool.

As a precautionary measure the National Highway has been blocked, so the vehicles are currently moving via Shantimarga, Karvelu, Dorme, Mathantabettu, Sediyapu route.
