ANF personnel exhorted on stress management

Karkala : Dr.  P.V. Bhandari, Medical Director of Dr. A.V. Baliga Memorial Hospital and noted psychiatrist  has said that there is no  medication to prevent  stress.

He was speaking as a resource person at a Stress Management Workshop organised on behalf of the District Police Department, Anti-Naxal Force and Nagarika Arogya Vedike at the ANF camp near Ramasamudra on Tuesday June 3.

Continuing, Dr Bhandari said mental stress can be managed when everyone in a group work unitedly by pooling together their capabilities. On work related stress he said one should be ready to tackle them and should be away from vices like smoking and alcohol consumption.

Dr Virupaksha Devarumane, President of Nagarika Arogya Vedike who also spoke, gave a talk on food habits, life style and human relationships.

Santosh Kumar, Superintendent of ANF and Udupi DySP,  Sudarshan, DySP of ANF, Madhusudan Heroor, Secretary of Nagarika Arogya Vedike and others were present.
