Konaje: An minor altercation between two persons ended in a serious note with one being stabbed by the other at Natekal in Konaje police station limits, late on Tuesday night.

The injured person is Ibrahim Khaleel alias Abubakker Siddique from Kinya Hidayanagar. Natekal resident Ajmal is the accused.

It is said that Ajmal, a bus driver had been harassing Ibrahim Khaleel’s friend’s son. The 14-yr-old was reportedly beaten by Ajmal for not responding to him when he haD signalled the boy to come to him. The boy had informed his family about the same and Ibrahim had called up Ajmal to question about the same.

Raged by this, Ajmal had challenged Ibrahim for a face off. The two came face to face at Natekal and over a heated argument, Khaleel had attacked Ajmal with a wooden club. In retaliation, Ajmal attacked Khaleel with a knife.
