Mangalore : The Air Cargo Facility at the Mangalore International Airport is likely to encourage export of fish, fruits, flowers and vegetables from Mangalore. In the first ever consignment of fish after the commencement of the air cargo facility, Pomfret (Maanji) weighing 0.600 ton was exported to Kuwait recently by an Air India Express flight.

The fish was packed in 12 packets, each weighing 45 kg, informed JT Radhakrishnan, Mangalore Airport Director.
