Mangalore : A Road Show was organised by the DK District unit of the Aam Aadmi Party from Pumpwell Circle to the DC office on April 12 to seek  support for its DK constituency candidate MR Vasudeva.

The Road Show was organised in view of the visit of the AAP Star Campaigner and senior leader Yogendra Yadav to the city on April 13, Sunday. However, the AAP is now facing charges of poll code violation as children were seeing holding banners and placards during the road show.

The Election Commission has already banned using the services of children during poll campaigning and even Assistant Election officer Subrahmanya Prabhu too has confirmed that the presence of children during the Road Show was tantamount to violation of election code.

AAP candidate MR Vasudeva addressed the gathering during the flagging off of the road show and assured to work for the overall development of the constituency if elected.
