Tuluva lad Roopesh B Shetty who won hearts through his ‘Moke’ the first ever Tulu album,  is now all set to bring about a  revolution in Tulu film industry through his  ‘Porlu’ Onchuru Marl – a Tulu Album and Comedy Telefilm.

Roopesh who has shouldered he entire responsibility of the direction, songs and lyrics of the telefilm  and the album, in his effort to give a new touch to his creativity has done the Music Mixing and Mastering in the United States which is a first in the history of Tulu film industry.

The ‘Porlu’ Telefilm also comprising a music album showcases the beauty of Mangalore. The Tulu album includes Rap Song and  Spanish Rap. Another special feature is that  eminent Tulu theatrical personality Telikeda Bolli Devadas Kapikad   has lent his voice to one of the songs in the album.

The telefilm has  Tulu theatre artistes Aravind Bolar, Santish Bandale, Bhojraj Vamanjur, Dinesh Attavar, Timmappa Kulal and others in different roles.

It is not an easy task to make a Tulu album and succeed. It requires a great deal of efforts and Roopesh and ventured into this with due support of Vijaynath Vittal Shetty and Supreeth Karkera Pandeshwar.

Let us wish this Tuluva youngster who has already created ripples with his ‘Moke’ album will now create a new record through ‘Porlu.’
