Mangaluru: Three accused have been arrested by the CCB police in connection with attack on two youth near Adyar.

The arrested are Nitin Poojary(21) from Farangipete, Pranesh Poojary(20) from Adyar and Kishan Poojary(21) from Padil.

It may be recalled that two youth were stabbed at Adyarkatte on Friday July 7, barely few kilometres away from the venue of the Congress Convention, where the CM was present.

Sajid, an engineering student and Naushad were injured in the stabbing incident. The duo was on their bike, when a three member gang approaced them and attacked both Sajid and Naushad and fled the spot.

The operation was carried out as per the directions of police commissioner T R Suresh. DCP Law and Order K M Shantharaju, ACP CCRB Valentine D’Souza led the team.
