ADC issues guidelines for visiting Kukke temple

Mangaluru: On Sunday, June 7, the administrative officer of Kukke Subrahmanya temple and Additional Deputy Commissioner M J Roopa issued guidelines for devotees desirous of visiting the temple.

As the state government has allowed opening religious centers from June 8th, the temple’s administrative officer has put certain conditions. As per the guidelines, devotees are allowed to enter the temple only between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm. Staying at the temple’s lodges will not be allowed until June 30th. There will be no entry to those who have a fever, cough, and cold. While visiting the temple, there will be no ‘Mangalarathi’, ‘Prasada’, or mass feeding in the temple.

Pregnant women, children who are below the age group of 10, and elderly people who are above the age group of 65, better to avoid visiting the temple. Bathing at temple’s Snana Ghatta is also not allowed to devotees until next order, the guidelines informed.
