Accident claims four lives at Panemangalore

Bantwal: A KSRTC bus rammed into an auto rickshaw near Panemangalore bridge on national highway 75, killing four people of a family on the spot on Monday February 3.

The deceased have been identified as Bhaskar, his wife Prema and Jagadish and his wife Suprita.They were  residents of Mulibail  near Barimar.

Bhaskar and Prema’s children Hritijna and Abhijna were also injured in the accident and have been admitted in a private hospital whereas Jagadish and Suprita’s son Nishan is said to be critical.

Bhaskar and Jagadish who were brothers, had been to a relative’s wedding in BC Road with their family and were returning to Barimar at 11.35 pm when the accident took place.

It is said that the bus was being driven at a high speed. Bhaskar was riding the auto rickshaw. The impact of the accident was such that the rickshaw was completely smashed.

Bantwal town police have registered a case.
