Mangalore: To understand and discuss the national scenario of education and the state of education in the country, ABVP has initiated a national executive meeting scheduled to be held on May 26 to 29.

During a press meet on Sunday May 25 the national president Murali Mohan informed the same.

Mohan said that this NEC of ABVP will be carried out under the leadership of national president and national general secretary wherein discussion and deliberate over the targets of the organization for the next year.

Moreover ABVP has also decided to agitate on the educational issues and campaigns for the girl students and women education. It is learnt that the meeting will also address to the strategies to be made with regards to the security of the students from north eastern region, he added.

He also said that the situation in the educational sector of the country, the National Campaign for Higher Education, the state of knowledge economy, education, commercialization, privatization, the issues with undergraduate courses, the issues of education policy and other such topic will be conferred during the meeting.

National general secretary Hari Borikar was also be present during the meet.
