Belthangady: LPG consumers in Belthangady taluk are a worried lot as LPG cylinders are not being supplied since the past two to three days owing to the Aadhaar card confusion.

Besides, Indane gas agency in Belthangady had stopped supplying cylinders on December 28, Saturday itself and had put up a board saying ‘No Stock’ on Monday. On Tuesday, they had downed their shutter saying it is a holiday.

Many schools in the taluk faced problems to cook mid-day meals and many teachers had to take cylinders from their home to schools.

However, the confusion and non-supply of LPG cylinders has hit hard to the consumers who are hoping an early solution would be found to the impasse.
