Mangalore :  One more accused in the notorious Padil Morning Mist Homestay attack case has been arrested on July 21, Sunday. Interestingly, the arrest has been made after almost a year after the incident which took place in June last year. With this, the total arrests in this case has risen to 38.

The arrested person is Manu alias Manoj (23) from Gurupur Kaikamba. The Bajpe and the Mangalore Rural Police, in a joint operation arrested him near Moodbidri on Sunday after gathering definite information regarding his whereabouts.

It is learnt, Manu had remained elusive for the past one year and was reportedly hiding in Mysore and Kodagu.   He is also wanted in a case of murder attempt and four more cases.

Of the 38 arrested in the case so far, 18 have been released while 20 are still behind bars.
