Mangalore, April 4: Congress Shahzada today marked his presence in the city at the Nehru Maidan, definitely the tide of people was less congregated as measure up to the BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi at city’s past rallies.
























Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi spoke about the state’s so far development related technology, banking, education, agro and court related segments.
However, he averred about the corruption prevailing in the opposition parties, citing several examples, he said that in Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh sand and mining mafias subsist and that should be observed by the opposition parties.
Stating on the state’s progress so far, he requested present ministers to boost the further progress of at least Bangalore and Mangalore, so as the duo cities can represent the state worldwide.
His meandering talks spotlighted BJP Prime Ministerial nominee Narendra Modi, stating on him, he said: “They say they want to become a Chowkidaar of this country, but India has a lot of Chowkidaars, and We should make crores of Chowkidaars and why to make one and leave others?”
Further, he cited goody things of his party that they brought into certainty such as MNREGA, RTI, etc.
Moreover, Gandhi claimed that Congress has removed 15 crore people from the poverty line.
Other Congress leaders slammed the national and state’s opposition party leaders. Besides, Siddaramaiah addressed NaMo as a ‘hardcore RSS’ in the rally, also he added titbits of his party work in the state.
Siddaramaiah, Oscar Fernandes, G Parameshwar and Shantaram Naik were present on the dais.
