Mangaluru: In a tragic incident in an apartment located in Urwa Chilimbi area of the city, a boy died after getting trapped between the lift doors, here on Wednesday, March 27.

The deceased is identified as Manjunath (8), son of Neelappa, who hails from Hunagunda town, Hoovina Hadagali.

Neelappa works as a watchman in the Bharathi Heights apartments of Urwa Chilimbi. Today, his son Manjunath was stuck between the lift doors and died on the spot.

A case has been filed in the Urwa Police Station.
