Udupi : Udupi town police have arrested five students who were peddling ganja near the Indrali Railway Cross at Manipal on June 12, Wednesday. Ganja weighing 850 grams has been seized from them.

Those arrested are Shashank R Tingalaya (19), Godwin (19), Pras Godwin (19), Shervin (19) and Akash Salian (18). The raid followed a tip off and  they were found hiding ganja in small packets inside their T-Shirts.

Udupi town police have registered a case. Investigations are in progress.
