4 arrested in transport firm manager murder case

Mangalore: Police investigating into the recent murder case of Prashanth alias Pachu, the manager of Sri Adhinatheshwara Roadlines, have made a breakthrough with the arrest of four persons. It is said the arrests were made in Kumble.

Prashanth was  brutally murdered by a gang of seven to eight  persons near the Mangala Bar at Valencia on April 7, Sunday.

Those arrested are Naveen alias Pili Naveen, Praveen Kalladka, Munna Uppala and Bhavanishanker from Bajal.  Of them, Bhavanishanker is wanted even in the case of the murder of the administrative officer of KVG institutions that took place in 2011. The arrests  followed a tip off and the cops have also seized a gun, four swords and the car used in the crime.
