Mangalore:Three persons have been arrested in connection with the recent case reported from near Kudupu wherein five cattle transporters were waylaid and brutally assaulted. The police are on the look out for two more accused.

Those arrested have been identified as Bhasker, Santosh, residents of Moodbidri and Yatish, a resident of Gurupur. Police have also seized two bikes from the arrested.
Here it is worth mentioning that five persons who were transporting cattle in a lorry were chased after their vehicle knocked down a bike rider. The vehicle in its bid to escape went out of control and veered off the road and the five inside were dragged and brutally assaulted. Those who were assaulted were Abdul Rahiman, Haneef, Zameer, Bashir and Mohammad. Nearly 20 cattle were found in the vehicle.
