Udupi : Former CMs  H D Kumaraswamy, Veerappa Moily, Dharam Singh, D V Sadananda Gowda, BJP leaders Ananthkumar, Shobha Karandlaje, Sriramulu, Prahlad Joshi, D K Suresh, and Congress candidate Prashant Deshpande  are among those whose names figure in the list of corrupt candidates released by  Nagalakshmi a journalist turned social activist, here on Thursday April 10.
Addressing press persons at Hotel Kidiyoor, she  claimed that  most of the journalists who were allotted sites during the tenure of SM Krishna and BS Yeddyurappa had to lose their sites valued at nearly Rs 3 crore after she moved the court.

She alleged that the sites were allotted not to deserving applicants but for those who would project their (politicians) image in media.

She further alleged that former CM DV Sadananda Gowda had misused power to purchase  residential land under ‘B’ category  and used it  for commercial purposes. She also informed that even this case was in the court.

Taking a dig at Udupi’s BJP candidate Shobha Karandlaje, Nagalakshmi said the loan details provided by her in her affidavit were not  the truth  and questioned how Shobha could accumulate  huge assets.

Nagalakshmi also claimed that she has won nine cases wherein she has been successful in exposing the cheating of corrupt politicians and added four cases are still pending settlement.
