Moodbidri : A head-on collision between a tempo and a private express bus resulted in serious injuries to two persons at Kadapalla  near here on December 12, Thursday.

The tempo driver and another person were injured in the mishap which left both the vehicles badly mangled. The  mini tempo engaged in line sales of bakery products was heading towards Mangalore from Moodbidri when the accident occurred.

Sources said the private bus was over speeding resulting in the accident. The injured have been shifted to private hospital in Mangalore.
