Mangalore : Mandd Sobhann presented its 150th Monthly Theatre titled ‘Podam Turo’ (a bouquet of songs), on Sunday, June 1st, 2014, at Kalaangann and completed 12 ½ years of presenting Monthly Theatres on the 1st Sunday of every month, without a break.

Singers like Eric Ozario, Joyce Ozario, Prakash D’Souza, Zeena Pereira, Lavita Lobo, Robin Sequeira, Carol Sequeira, Prajoth D’Sa and Vinay Lewis presented 20 songs of Mandd Sobhann, Robin Sequeira, Roshan D’Souza and Lloyd Rego.

Singers were backed by the musicians – Roshan D’Souza (lead guitar), Richard Monteiro (keyboards), Sachin Sequeira (drums), Sunil Kumar (violin), Joe Ashwin Correa (bass guitar), Umesh Iddya (sax / trumpet), Rajesh Bhagvath (tabla / dholak), Manish Das (flute) and Norbert Gonsalves (extra effects).

This monthly theatre was organised as a fund-raising programme and the donors were felicitated on the occasion by Mandd Sobhann President – Louis J. Pinto. Arun Raj Rodrigues and Titus Noronha compered the programme.
