Kundapur : The Byndoor police have seized large quantity of kerosene oil which was illegally stored in a building adjacent to the Vijaya Bank’s Shiroor Branch  here on December 13, Friday. One person was arrested.

The Byndoor police raided the place following a tip off and found several  cans and barrels with kerosene oil  stored in them. The value of the seized oil and containers is estimated at Rs 40,000.

The arrested person is identified as Mohan Poojari. Investigations are underway.
