Karwar: Former minister and JD(S) candidate Anand Asnotikar has leveled a serious allegation against MLA Sathish Sail and his close associate Shambhu Shetty of taking money from job aspirants for getting placements in Aditya Birla Grasim Industries in Binaga.

Addressing a news conference, Asnotikar said that if the MLA says that it is far from truth, then he will bring ten candidates who had paid the money to the MLA.

“The voters who had voted for Sail hoping for a change are now feeling cheated. He has forgotten the constituency completely and is busy taking commission on various works,” he said adding that the MLA is also set to lure voters during this elections.

Asnotikar said that there have been no development in the constituency and issues like bad roads, drinking water paucity and the likes still persist.
