Bengaluru: BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa on Tuesday condoled the death of Minister for Cooperation and Sugar H S Mahadeva Prasad.

In a condolence message, Yeddyurappa said the state has lost a good politician due to the sad demise of Mahadeva Prasad. “I offer my condolences and pray God to give strength to Prasad’s family members to bear the grief and pain,’’ Yeddyurappa said.

Expressing shock over the death of Mahadeva Prasad, BJP Deputy Leader in the State Assembly R Ashok has described Mahadeva Prasad as a good politician who got elected to the Assembly from Gundlupet five times. “I pray God to give strength to Prasad’s family members to bear the loss,’’ Ashok said.

Union Minister for Statistics and Programme Implementation D V Sadananda Gowda has condoled the untimely death of Minister Mahadeva Prasad. “I was shocked to hear the sad news of Prasad’s death. I pray God to give the strength to his family members to bear the loss,’’ Sadananda Gowda said.
