Bengaluru: Following the death of Minister for Co-operationa and Sugar H S Mahadeva Prasad, the state governmentt has declared state mourning of three days.
State holiday has been declared on January 3, while Chamarajanagar district has given holiday on December 4 considering that the last rites of minister would be held at Chamarajanagar on Wednesday.
During the period of state mourning national flag in all government premises will fly on half mast.
Meanwhile Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has cancelled all his programmes and has left to Mysuru. Siddaramaiah will be taking part in the last rites of the late Minister at latter’s native village on Wednesday.
