Bengaluru: Well-known Kannada short story writer CN Ramchandra passed away on Monday wee hours in Chennai city.

He was 58. He was serving as Director of Chennai Doordarshan Kendra for last few years and had also served as associate director of Bengaluru Doordarshan before shifting to Chennai.

He has number of short stories published in his account. His collection of write-ups “Ashaya-Akruthi” book won him much accolades. His body is expected to be brought to city by afternoon and will be cremated in the evening.
