
Bengaluru: Growing closeness to a woman turned out to be a very costly affair for a man in Tilaknagar, here. Raged by her husband, a wife poured acid on her husband.
However, luckily the acid fell only on Mohammed Atheem’s forehead and he could manage to escape with minor wounds.
Aksa Parveen (35), the wife was arrested by the Tilaknagar police.
Atheem, a former Hindu and Aksa Parveen were working together in the same company and had got married in 2006 with consent from both the families. Atheem Mohammed was called Shantharaju before his wedding to Aksa. Their marriage was registered under his new name. The couple has two children.
Recently Atheem had started talking to another woman over the mobile for long hours. This had irked Parveen. Whenever she questioned Atheem regarding this they ended up having a fight.
The daily fights reached a point where they decided to get divorced but keeping in mind their children’s future they decided to live together for a few more years.
Atheem’s relationship with another woman had continued.
On April 24 they had another argument regarding Atheem’s relationship. Aksa under the fit of rage poured acid on Atheem on April 24 night.
Luckily Atheem escaped with minor injuries.
According to Tilaknagar police, they had arrested and remanded Aksa based on her husband’s complaint
