Bangalore: State Governor Hamsaraj Bharadwaj has warned that he would directly complain to the President against any state minister who indulges in corruption or resorts to dereliction of duty.
“As a head of the state, it is my duty to monitor the governments functioning and I am committed to my duty. If any minister errs, then I will report to the President without any hesitation,” Bharadwaj said.
Speaking to reporters here, the Governor said “If some do not like what I say, they may try to dislodge me from power. But that is not possible unless the President decides. My term will draw to a close by June end. It is left to the President to decide whether to continue me in the post or not,”
“I love Karnataka and Bangalore immensely. When I was the union law minister in 1984, I used to convene most of my meetings in the Vidhana Saudha in Bangalore by summoning ministers from various states. Bangalore is a beautiful city and tourist destination,” the Governor thus revealed his admiration for the state capital.
