Bengaluru: A meeting held regarding the utilisation of grants under Special Component Plan (SCP) and Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) between Social Welfare Minister H Anjaneya  and other SC/ST MPs and legislators ended in war of words on Tuesday, May 24.

Sources said that the meeting was held at Conference Hall in Vidhana Soudha. Former minister and Congress MLA P M Narendraswamy spoke about the lack of facilities in hostels and blamed Anjaneya for the same.

An annoyed Anjaneya, used offensive words against Narendraswamy which led to verbal battle between the two. Member of Lok Sabha from Kolar, K H Muniyappa had to intervene to pacify them. Anjaneya tendered an apology at the insistence of a section of legislators later.
