Bengaluru: An assistant director of Kannada films has filed a complaint against his in-laws accusing them of assaulting and threatening him and stealing documents, including a script of his upcoming film.

Srikara, a native of Thirthahalli, had married Swetha from Kolar without their parents’ consent, and living in a rented house. Srikara is the script writer for the upcoming Upendra movie Doctor Modi.

Srikara alleged that his in-laws assaulted him and forcibly took away documents, letters, photos, certificates.

The HSR Layout police have registered a case.
