Bengaluru: In a tragic incident, a woman home guard was killed when she was trying to get off a moving train in Railway Gollahalli on the outskirts of the city on Sunday.

The railway police have identified the deceased as Anasuya, 32, a resident of Arjuna Betahalli. The railway police said she was working as security staff at a Malleshwaram Metro station and was returning home after work.

The city railway police shifted the body for post mortem. Further investigation is on.
