Bengaluru: The police have arrested two foreign nationals for allegedly raping a minor girl in KR Puram police station limits.

The police have identified the arrested as Mujtaba Jalal (23), an Afghan national and Karam Abdul Ahmed (23), an Iraqi national. The police said the both of them are residents of Battarahalli near KR Puram and were studying in a private college. It is believed that Jalal and Ahmed met the victim through a common friend at a club a few days ago.

According to the police, the duo offered to drop the victim home as it was on the way to their house. The victim agreed and accompanied them. All of them were in an inebriated state and the duo forcibly took the victim to their house and raped her. The police sources said the accused dropped her back home and warned her against revealing the incident.

The victim started developing health complications and when she visited the doctor, the sexual assault came to light. The victim’s parents lodged a complaint with the police.
