Bengaluru: The police have arrested four persons, including a woman, for drug peddling near Marathahalli in HAL police station limits and seized heroin worth Rs 10 lakh from them.

The police have identified the arrested as Mubarak Shah (40), Murshid (32), Bablu Shaikh (30) and Muneera Shaikh (35) from West Bengal.

According to the police sources, the arrested persons would come down to the city frequently to sell heroin and get back to their hometown. It is believed the four used to sell heroin to college students and people working in multinational companies in the city after procuring it from drug peddlers in West Bengal. The HAL police have registered a case.
