Bengaluru: The traffic police will ban parking of vehicles on the following routes and dates in view of Vice President Hamid Ansari’s visit to the city on Friday.

In view of the movement of his convoy, parking of vehicles is prohibited on some routes on both sides of the road, a press release from Bengaluru Traffic Police said. Traffic is likely to be affected between 4pm and 8pm on the following roads on Friday:

4 pm -6pm
HAL Airport — Airport Umbrella — Airport Road — ISRO Jn — Manipal Hospital Junction — Indiranagar 100 Feet Road Junction — Domlur — C B Road Juntion – ASC Centre — Trinity Church Circle — M G Road — Webbs Junction — Manipal Centre —Cubbon Road — K R Road Juntion — BRV Junction — Central Street — Anil Kumble Circle — M G Road — Queen’s Circle — Kasturba Road — Siddalingaiah Circle — Mallya Hospital Road and RRMR Circle.

5.30 pm – 6.30 pm
Mallya Hospital Road – RRMR Circle — RRMR Road — Hudson Circle – Kasturba Road — Siddalingaiah Circle — K B Road — Queen’s Circle — Queen’s Road — CTO Circle — Raj Bhavan Road — Police Thimmaiah Circle and on to Raj Bhavan.

6.30 pm – 8 pm
Raj Bhavan — Ali Askar Road Junction — Infantry Road — Coffee Board Junction — Traffic police HQ Juntion — Right turn — CTO Circle — Cubbon Road— K R Road and Cubbon Road Junction — Manipal Centre Junction — Webbs Junction — M G Road — Trinity Church Circle — ASC Centre — C B Road Junction – Domlur — Indiranagar 100 feet road Junction — Manipal Hospital -ISRO Junction —Rajeshwari Theatre Junction — Airport Umbrella — 30 Gate and on to HAL Old Airport.
