Bengaluru: A Tanzanian student, who was reportedly riding without a helmet, was killed after he slipped from his two-wheeler near Bande Hosuru in Devanahalli on Wednesday.

Christian Benjamin (30), a student of Bachelor of Computer Applications in a private college, is the deceased.

It has been reported that the incident occured when the student was returning from the college. According to the police, Benjamin lost control and slipped from the vehicle sustaining severe head injuries.

Passers-by rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Devanahalli traffic police have taken up a case and are investigating.
