Bengaluru: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) officers arrested a suspected terrorist from Doddaballapura.

According to the NIA sources, arrested suspected terrorist is SK Habibur Rehman alias Sheikh (30), who allegedly has close links with the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen, an Islamic terrorist organisation operating in Bangladesh.

According to the sources, he was wanted in a case pertaining to a crude bomb production case.

It can be recalled that last year two terrorists were arrested from Ramanagar which is on the city outskirts.

The NIA police have taken the arrested youth to West Bengal through a transit order.
