Bengaluru: A postgraduate student allegedly committed suicide by hanging on Thursday at his residence. The incident took place in in Dollars Colony in Sanjaynagar.

N.V. Ranna, who was pursuing fashion designing in a private college in Yelahanka is the deceased.

According to sources after lunch, Ranna went to his room and locked up. The reason behind the extreme step is not yet known.

His mother found him hanging from the ceiling. He was rushed to a private hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead.
