Bengaluru: Putting an end to all speculations, Janata Dal-United (JDU) state unit has decided to stay with Sharad Yadav faction.
JDU state unit president, former minister M P Nadaguda informed that only three state units have supported Bihar CM Nitish Kumar’s decision to ditch Mahaghatabandan and join hands with BJP. “Karnataka state unit of JDU will stay with Yadav and will not forge any coalition with BJP,” he has stated.
He has informed that state party unit has authorised Yadav on political future of the party.
It can be recalled that following Nitish Kumar’s decision to split away from the secular alliance in Bihar, party national president Sharad Yadav rebelled against him and continued with the RJD-Congress coalition.
