Bangalore: The BJP leaders in Karnataka are introspecting on the defeat faced during the recently held assembly elections. They are contemplating on the proposal to put forth BJP big bosses in order to bring back the former CM B S Yeddyurappa to BJPs fold.
The state BJP leaders are convinced that BJP fared poor in the assembly elections, because the votes were divided because of KJP, while the party bosses had not given scope for a discussion on who was responsible for Yeddyurappa to exit from BJp.
A few BJP leaders are of the opinion to bring back Yeddyurappa to BJP, ahead of discussing the strategy to face the forthcoming general elections.
BJP MP Prabhakar Kore had issued a statement to bring back Yeddyurappa to BJP ahead of assembly elections. Meanwhile, BJP national leader Venkayya Naidu stated that BJP faced utter defeat owing to exit of Yeddyurappa.
The opponents of Yeddyurappa in state BJP are in deep distress after the poor performance in assembly elections. Yeddyurappas opponents Anant Kumar, Sadanand Gowda, Eshwarappa and others are silent over the issue.
The assembly elections proved BJP lacked a leader like Yeddyurappa in Karnataka, while the efforts are under way to induct him once again.
