Bengaluru: A 35-year-old software engineer was crushed to death when a truck hit his two-wheeler on Friday night on Hosur Road near Veerasandra.

The police have identified the victim as Mustaq Ahmed. The victim was an employee of HP and was going home from office when the mishap took place.

The police said that the victim was proceeding towards home after filling his bike with petrol at an IOC petrol pump near Veerasandra. The truck was coming from Tamil Nadu when the accident taken place. The police said the victim succumbed to injuries on the spot.

The Electronic City police have seized the truck and registered a case. The police have launched a manhunt to nab the truck driver who is absconding after the mishap.
