Bengaluru: CM HD Kumaraswamy has courted several controversies after his impulsive reactions to various incidents. However, the latest is that the CM had reportedly told the police to shoot down the murderers of JDS leader Honnalagere Prakash, who was hacked to death in broad daylight at Maddur taluk of Mandya on December 24.

Prakash was a close aide of the CM and his death has shocked the CM.

It is said that the CM contacted district Superintendent of Police and ordered him to gun down the culprits.

However, HDK has later clarified that it was only an impulsive reaction and not an order, hence there is no need to make an issue out of the same.
According to the sources exactly two years ago (December 25, 2016) two JD(S) workers were hacked to death in the broad light. A few weeks ago, another person from the same village was found murdered. “The political rivalry must be the reason behind the murder,” suspected police.

Meanwhile, BJP State Chief BS Yeddyurappa has sharply reacted to the statement of the CM and said that it is unbecoming of a CM to speak such words.
“I wonder what would happen to the law and order situation in the state when the CM himself speaks of murdering and gunning down,” BSY said
