Bengaluru: Former CM, Congress leader Siddaramaiah is known for his strong view against the BJP. He always stands with the secular principles and has identified himself as a prominent opponent to the RSS ideology.

However, when he was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in a Malleshwaram hospital, it is the BJP leaders who are meeting him in large number. Most of the Congress leaders have not paid a visit to meet their top leader.

After CM BS Yediyurappa, ministers KS Eshwarappa, V Somanna, Basavaraj Bommai among others, on Saturday BJP leaders CT Ravi, B Sreeramulu, AH Vishwanath, a staunch critic of Siddaramaiah, ST Somasekhar, Munirathna, Bhairati Basavaraj and others called upon Siddaramaiah and wished him a speedy recovery.

Among the JDS leaders, only GT Devegowda called upon Siddaramaiah.

Speaking to reporters, AH Vishwanath informed that he and Siddaramaiah are not enemies like India and Pakistan. “Our thoughts are different. We are friends forever,” he said.
