Bengaluru: Primary and Secondary education minister S Suresh Kumar has said that the schools and colleges likely to be reopened after August. This is the first indication by the state government on re-opening the schools and colleges.

S Suresh Kumar who is credited for conducting the SSLC examinations successfully said that that a final decision in this regard will be taken after consultation with all the stakeholders.

“At first PU colleges will be reopened. After that high schools. Lower classes will be reopened only after Covid 19 comes under  control,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the SSLC examination 2020 is concluding today with the exam in the third language. By July second week, valuation work will start across the state in all the district head quarters.
