Bengaluru/New Delhi: Supreme court bench headed by Pinaki Chandra Ghose deferred hearing of 15 de-notification corruption cases against former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa by five weeks on Monday, September 19.
In a dramatic development the SC bench decided to handle all cases at once after five weeks.
The Karnataka government had filed a special leave petition in the Supreme Court against a Karnataka High Court order quashing proceedings in 15 FIRs registered by the Lokayukta police against Yeddyurappa in connection with the denotification of land in Bengaluru in favour of private parties.
