Bengaluru: Son of former Lokayukta, Ashwin Rao and six others accused in Lokayukta bribery case which sent shock waves in the state administrative circles were given conditional bail by a court in Bengaluru on Monday, September 19.

Police had nabbed former Lokayukta Bhaskar Rao’s son Ashwin Rao, an RTI activist and few others connected with the bribery case. After spending a year in jail, the accused finally managed to get bail.

They were asked to produce a security bond of Rs 1 lakh along with a surety. They were also asked to submit their passport to CID as per bail conditions.
