Bengaluru: The Congress and the BJP members clashed in the BBMP council over property tax hike, here on April 29.
BJP corporators protested and demanded rollback of property tax hike and also vowed to continue overnight protest against it.

Following ruckus in the council, BBMP Mayor suspended four BJP corporators.
The suspended members are Padmanabha Reddy, M Nagaraj, Umesh Shetty and Ramesh Kumar.

Meanwhile, Opposition leader Padmanabha Reddy fainted during the protest in the BBMP Council.

“We will continue protest till the BBMP withdraws property tax hike. The BJP workers headed by Yeddyurappa will hold a massive protest against the BBMP on May 3,” said Padmanabha Reddy.
