Bengaluru: In yet another gang war in the Garden City, a rowdy sheeter was shot dead on Tuesday late night near a mosque at Shivajinagar.

The deceased is identified as Parvez alias Parvez Sultan. Two others were also injured in the incident, police sources said.

According to police, the assailants came in three bikes with revolvers and machetes and attacked the victim. Sources said that Parvez was shot at close range when he was having chaat with his associates in an autorickshaw.

Taking the incident seriously, the police successfully traced the assailants on the wee hours of Wednesday and arrested them. The arrested are Shabbir and Takheek.

The arrest incident too had a piece of dramatic dose, as the assailants were shot in their legs as they tried to hit back at police in order to escape from them.

DJ Halli police are investigating the case.
